The birth of FROID
Any intelligence that sets out to help a human being understand themselves is born small before the immensity of what it seeks.
Newborn, it will grow exponentially and indefinitely toward becoming the largest and most useful intelligence in aid of those seeking to understand the metaphysics behind the coherent relationship between the soul and its expressions: what the voice — the greatest expression of the human psyche — reveals, the intention behind words, and what the face confesses; and the truth that emerges when the three converge.
Because giving humans the means to understand themselves better is, in the end, caring for their very existence.
This is the vision that guides FROID. Every step of this journey is taken with the rigor described in our Science and Ethics pages.
Who makes FROID
FROID was born at the intersection of signal engineering, computer vision, and clinical practice — seeking to give the therapist an objective layer of reading, without promising what science does not yet validate.
Clinical governance
The evolution of FROID's algorithms and practices is submitted to periodic review by an independent board, with representation from psychology, psychiatry, and AI ethics. This board audits the behavior of the inferences and the equity commitment described on the Ethics page.
